Anjeer Ice cream recipe / How to make Fig Ice cream / low fat, low sugar Anjeer ice cream / soft-creamy fig ice cream / Only three ingredient fig ice cream
This summer enjoys soft, creamy, sweet, mouth-watering Anjeer ice cream loaded with the goodness of dried fig. Figs are full of health benefits like a rich source of fiber helps in weight management, boosts heart health, prevents constipation, promotes bone health, regulates blood sugar.
This three-ingredient fig ice cream enriched with the natural flavor of fig, without any color and artificial flavors it gives you a texture and aroma of store-bought ice cream. Low fat, low sugar ice cream as I have not added whipped cream, butter or cheese. avoid to add sugar or honey and it will be sugar-free but yet testy 😊.

Ingredients:-
Full cream milk: 1 liter or 4 cups
Dried Figs: 12 - 14
Organic sugar: 2 tbsp. or honey 2 tbsp.
(You can also use normal sugar)
Method:-
1 Take 1-liter full cream milk in a heavy bottom pan and keep it to boil on medium to high heat, stir occasionally.
2 Wash the figs very well in a deep bowl and drain the water.
3 When milk starts boiling add figs and cook.
4 Cook on low to medium flame till milk reduced to 1/4 while stirring occasionally.
5 Add 2 tbsp. Sugar or honey.
6 If adding honey turn off the heat and mix very well.
7 If added sugar then cooks for another 2-3 minutes and turn off the heat.
8 Let it cool completely and blend the mixture until smooth, before blending the mixture secure 3-4 cooked figs for garnishing.It will give a soft bite to the ice cream.
9 Roughly chop the fig for garnishing and add to the ice cream.
10 Transfer the mixture in an airtight container and freeze for about 6 -7 hours.
11 After 6-7 hours take out the ice cream from freezer and beat the ice cream with an electric beater for about 5-7 minutes.You can also blend it in a mixer.
12 Again transfer in the same airtight container and freeze for about 6-7 hours, Ice cream is ready, scoop and serve.

When milk starts boiling add figs and cook.
Cook on low to medium flame till milk reduced to 1/4, while stirring occasionally. Now figs are cooked and floating on the top.
After half hour its being reduced to 1/4
Add 2 tbsp. Sugar or honey and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Turn off the heat.
Before blending the mixture secure 3-4 cooked figs for garnishing. It will give a soft bite to the ice cream.
Let it cool completely
Blend the mixture till smooth.
Transfer the mixture in an air tight container.
Roughly chop the fig for garnishing and add to the ice cream.
Now freeze for about 6 -7 hours.
Take out the ice cream from freezer and beat the ice cream with an electric beater for about 5-7 minutes.You can also blend it in a mixer.
Transfer to the same airtight container and freeze for about 6-7 hours.
