Dried salted ginger 

Chatpat dried ginger is a mouth freshener recipe, also it has some health benefits. It helps to digest food, also helps when you feel uneasy.
                    Here I am sharing the recipe of chatpat ginger / dried salted ginger, a salty and sour mouth freshener packed with many health benefits and refreshing properties.

Ingredients
Ginger:  250 gms.
Lime juice:  ¼ cups
Rock salt:  1 tsp.
Black salt:  1 tsp.
Carom seeds  :  ½ tsp. (coarsely ground) (Optional)

Method

1 wash and peel the ginger
2 Make thin slices of ginger with the help of a good slicer.
3 Now mix Ginger, Rock salt, black salt, lime juice and carom seeds powder all together, mix very well.
4 Line a tray or plate with plastic sheet.
5 transfer the mixer to the tray and sun dried the ginger for 2-3 days.

Now mix Ginger, Rock salt, black salt ‘lime juice and carom seeds powder all together, mix very well.

Line a tray or plate with plastic sheet, transfer the mixer to the tray and sun dried  the  ginger for 2-3 days


After 3 days, now it’s dried completely, store it in an airtight container.
